Browser extension Coming soon

The right password, on the right site, when you decide

Copying passwords from one tab to another is slow and invites mistakes. With the extension you open the panel, check the entry and fill it in: submitting stays with you.

The most protected way to use Kamzan Pass

The web vault is loaded by the server every time you open it. The extension is not: its code is installed once and doesn’t change at every opening, and that is what the Kamzan Pass promise rests on: the server neither receives nor stores the keys. Your company installs it, it connects to your Kamzan and unlocks with the master password. It works with Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

How it works

  1. You connect and approve the browser

You type the address of your company’s Kamzan and sign in. On first use the browser has to be approved: eight words to enter on a device where Kamzan Pass is already unlocked.

  2. You unlock with the master password

The master password is typed again at every browser start and after every lock. Once the extension is unlocked, you find your entries and search them from the panel.

  3. You fill from the panel

The icon in the field only opens the panel. You press “Fill” on the right entry, check the fields and submit yourself.

It fills when you ask, and submitting stays yours.

What you can do

  • It fills only on your action

The icon on the page writes nothing, on purpose: the action that fills sits in the extension panel, outside the page.

  • The first time on an address, it asks

When an entry is filled for the first time on an address, Kamzan Pass shows it to you and waits for confirmation: say yes only if you recognise it.

  • When it doesn’t fill, it says why

Sign-up or password change forms, passwords asked in pieces, on-screen keypads: the panel explains it and lets you copy from the list.

  • A clipboard that empties itself

You copy username, password or code with a click. After a few seconds the clipboard is emptied, and the panel tells you how many.

  • Passkeys in the vault, with their limits

You can save a passkey in an entry or leave it to the device. In a shared vault it belongs to all members, readers included: choose carefully where to put it.

  • It locks by itself

After inactivity, when the screen locks, when the computer sleeps or when the browser closes. Locking depends on the clock and the browser: a hibernated computer weakens it, so lock by hand when you step away.

Frequently asked questions

Does it fill every kind of login?

Not yet. Filling has been tested on the first step of a login: the second step of two-stage logins is not verified on real sites, and some sites are filled by copying from the panel. One-time codes are copied from the list for now.

Why is it more protected than the web vault?

The server delivers the web vault at every opening: whoever controlled that server could deliver a modified version, and this applies to every manager with a web app. The extension’s code is installed once. A compromised device, however, stays outside what Kamzan Pass can protect.

Does it work with Microsoft or Google sign-in?

Microsoft or Google sign-in inside the extension has not been tested yet. If your company signs in only that way, let’s talk first: in the demo we tell you where things stand.

Can I keep it alongside another password manager?

Yes, but for passkeys it’s better to keep only one active: with two, we don’t decide which one answers. A Microsoft company that requires attested passkeys excludes software managers, Kamzan Pass included, and a passkey requested from a frame of another site stays with the system.

Want to see it before it arrives?

We show you Kamzan Pass on a test vault: how a password is shared, what happens when someone leaves the company and what the server doesn’t see. Half an hour, no strings attached.
