Cookies are small text files that websites save on a visitor’s device. Some are needed to make the site work (technical cookies), others are used to track people for advertising or analytics purposes (profiling or third-party cookies) and, under the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines of 10 June 2021, the latter require your consent.

What this site uses

The Kamzan website is designed for privacy: it uses no profiling cookies, no third-party cookies and no advertising trackers.

  • Anonymous statistics. We use Umami installed on our own servers. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: to tell one visit from another it computes a temporary identifier on the server that changes every day, so it cannot recognise you over time or follow you across sites. It collects only aggregated data (page views, referrer, device type, language). That is why it requires no consent.
  • Fonts and assets. Typefaces are hosted directly on our servers: the site makes no calls to external CDNs (such as Google Fonts) that could set cookies or collect your IP address.
  • Demo booking. On the contact page, if you choose “demo request”, the Kalendo calendar appears — our own booking product, hosted on jinni.studio (still Jinni srl). It loads only after that choice, sets no cookies and uses only temporary session storage for its styling, which the browser clears when you close the tab.
  • Technical cookies. Any cookies strictly necessary for operation and security (for example at the server or reverse-proxy level) are technical cookies: under the Authority’s guidelines they require no consent.

Because we use no profiling cookies and no tracking tools that require consent, there is no cookie consent banner: there would be nothing to authorise. This is a deliberate privacy-by-design choice.

The Kalendo calendar described above is embedded content, but it sets no cookies and no tracking tools, so it changes nothing here. Should we introduce tools that require consent in the future (for example embedded video or marketing tools), a compliant banner will appear allowing you to choose before such cookies are activated, and this page will be updated accordingly.

How to manage cookies in your browser

Even without profiling cookies, you can review or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings:

  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
