Setting up the work

Write the brand down once. Then everyone reads it.

The client’s guidelines in a PDF inside a folder, the strategy in a PowerPoint emailed in March and never opened again, and whoever writes the posts not knowing which blue to use or which words the client never wants to hear. In kSocial the brand kit and the strategy live in the project, next to the posts: whoever writes has them at hand, and with the AI assistant the model reads them too.

Two places in the project, one for the brand and one for the plan

In Settings › Brand & assets you write the palette with colour names, the visual and writing style, the keywords, the fonts, what the brand never does and the notes for the AI; below, the logos, reference images, photos of the brand’s people and other files. It saves itself as you type. The project’s “Editorial plan” tab, on the other hand, holds the strategy as slides: a new plan starts with a cover, an identity slide taken from the brand kit if there is one, goals, audience, tone of voice, channels, pillars with their targets, posting rhythm, indicators to measure and next steps. What is left to write are the parts only you know.

How it works

  1. Fill the brand kit from a file

Drop in the client’s guidelines, PDF or PowerPoint up to 30 MB: kSocial extracts colours, fonts and logos and shows you the proposal. You choose what to keep, and whether to add it to what is there or replace it. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

  2. Create the plan

Three ways: blank, with the basic slides already filled in from the project; from a template designed for that client; or generated by the AI from brand kit, channels, pillars and a brief of yours. In every case the slides are edited one by one.

  3. Present it and confirm it

“Present” opens it full screen, with the arrow keys to move through it; the PDF button prints it. When it goes from “Draft” to “Final”, a PDF copy is filed in the project’s Documents.

The brand no longer lives in a PDF nobody opens.

What you can do

  • Logos taken from the website

With no file at hand, “Take from the website” looks for images and icons on the client’s website, or on their LinkedIn, Facebook or YouTube page, and with one click puts them among the logos or the inspiration.

  • Slides that follow the project

Added a channel or changed a pillar’s target? “Realign from project” brings the channel and pillar rows back into the slides and keeps the notes you had already written.

  • Templates with your look

In Settings › Plan templates you design the theme: fonts, accent colour, the brand kit logo in the same corner of every slide, a footer with project name and page number, background. You start from Classic, Dark or Bold; the default one is the base of every new plan.

  • Every confirmation, a version

Every switch to “Final” adds a PDF copy to Documents, without overwriting the previous one: in October you still know which plan was agreed in May. The copy starts hidden from the client; you decide whether to show it.

  • A plan written by the AI, if you want one

With the “AI assistant” extension the model reads brand kit, channels and pillars and proposes the plan’s slides: goals, audience, tone, rhythm, KPIs, next steps. Untick the ones you do not want; the plan exists only once you create it.

  • The real logo on the images

On images generated with the AI, kSocial places the exact brand kit logo in the corner and at the width you choose, instead of a redrawn logo that only “looks like it”. Logos and inspiration images can be passed to the model as a style reference.

In depth

  • AI assistant

Next month’s plan due by Friday, the same post to rewrite for three channels, the image to ask the designer for yet again. The AI assistant puts an AI model inside kSocial, fed with the project’s brand kit, channels and content pillars: it proposes ideas, copy and images, and nothing enters the plan without someone’s click.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the AI?

No. Colours, fonts and logos are extracted from the file without any model, and the blank plan is born already filled in from the project. The AI proposes style, keywords and whole plans only with the “AI assistant” extension, the “use AI” privilege and a model chosen in Kamzan Account: a provider’s key or an internal engine.

Can two people edit the same plan?

One at a time. Whoever opens it first holds it; the others read it, see who is working on it and can edit once that person closes it. Whoever manages projects can force the unlock.

If I change a template, do existing plans change?

No. A plan takes a copy of the template: changing the template afterwards does not touch it. You can always apply another one from the plan’s menu, and the choices made on individual slides stay.

Want to see it on your own plan?

We show you kSocial with your channels and your pillars, not a fake example. Half an hour, and you know whether it is the right place for your editorial plan.
