The editorial plan that no longer lives in a spreadsheet

Every post has a channel, a pillar, a date, an owner and a status. The client sees it when it is ready and approves it right there. Whoever publishes knows what goes out tomorrow without asking.

One place for everything that will go out

An editorial plan is usually a shared sheet, a folder of images, a chat with the client and the memory of whoever publishes. When one of those four gets lost, the post gets lost.

kSocial brings them together: the calendar says when, the post card says what and for which channel, the client approves inside, and the media sit next to the copy that uses them. For an agency with ten clients, each one is a separate project with its own people.

What you do with it

  • Projects, channels and pillars

One project for your company and one for each client, with its own channels, pillars and people. Every channel carries its character limit, every pillar its weekly target.

  • Strategy and brand kit

Colours, fonts and logos read from the client’s guidelines in PDF or PowerPoint. The slide strategy starts with the project’s channels, pillars and identity, is presented and confirmed as a PDF.

  • Sources, inspiration and boards

Every 6 hours kSocial rereads the blogs, links and Files folders you point it to. What is worth it becomes an idea in one click or goes onto a board with images, notes and colours.

  • Editorial plan

Every post has a channel, a date, an owner and a status, from idea to published. Approvers approve inside kSocial, reminders go out on their own, and without approval a post cannot be scheduled.

  • Library and collaboration

The project’s images, videos and documents in a tagged library; the conversation on the post with mentions; one person editing at a time, and every version of the copy ready to restore.

  • Personal profiles and reshares

Each person connects their own LinkedIn profile and gets a calendar of their own, separate from the projects. They choose who writes for them, and reshare company posts with their own comment, automatically too.

The same plan, many ways to look at it

Four views come built in: Table, to filter and sort; Calendar; Board, by status; Quarter. Gallery, List, Timeline (the Gantt) and the Idea collection form are extensions you add when you need them. Views are saved in the project, for the whole team.

Inspiration and boards

Ideas are not born in a calendar. kSocial automatically reads the sources you point it to — RSS feeds, links, a Files folder — and puts them on a separate board; what is worth it becomes an idea in one click, or goes onto a free-form board where images, references and notes gather until the post has a shape. The board exports to PNG or PDF to send to the client.

An assistant, if you want one

An optional extension that works inside the plan, not beside it. You choose the model, feature by feature: ours, on servers in Europe, or an external provider if you prefer.

  • Plan the month reads channels, pillars and what is already scheduled and proposes the missing ideas. You pick, and only then do they become posts.
  • Write and adapt the first draft from a brief, then the same content rewritten for each channel, within its character limit.
  • Tone, title, hashtags changes the register, proposes title and hashtags, suggests pillar and format.
  • Strategy and brand a starting strategy from the client brief. Colours, fonts and logos are extracted from the brand file (PDF or PowerPoint) without AI; the assistant proposes style, keywords and colour names.
  • Image generated in the right format for the channel — landscape, portrait or square — and saved only if you accept it.

Publishing and analytics, as extensions

With the “Social publishing” extension, kSocial publishes to LinkedIn on its own at the scheduled time, on company pages and personal profiles. Only approved, scheduled posts go out. Without it, whoever publishes marks the post “published” by hand. The “Social analytics” extension brings the figures for LinkedIn company pages into kSocial.

Frequently asked questions

Does kSocial publish to social networks for me?

On LinkedIn, yes, with the “Social publishing” extension: approved, scheduled posts go out on their own at the planned time, on company pages and personal profiles. On other channels, or without the extension, whoever publishes marks the post as published by hand.

Does the client need an account?

Only to approve. To view the plan and comment, a shared link is enough, with the “Link sharing” extension, no account needed. To approve, the client needs a guest account, for their project only: as a Reader they see posts from review onwards and comment; as an Editor or Reviewer they see the whole plan, and the Reviewer approves or sends back to draft. They never see other clients.

Do I need Files to use kSocial?

No. Media are uploaded directly into kSocial, encrypted per company. If you also have Files, you pick a file from the library and it is copied into kSocial; a folder can also become an inspiration source.

Is the AI mandatory?

No. It is an extension that starts switched off; you enable it for the company and assign it to the people who need it. The model is chosen feature by feature.
