Pages Coming soon
Every procedure in its place, not in someone’s file
How to open a case, how to handle a return, who to ask for what: in kWiki they become ordered pages, one inside the other, that tomorrow’s new starter finds without asking anyone.
A tree you can read at a glance
At Officina Ferrero the returns procedure sat in the manager’s document, the part photos in a folder, the exceptions in the memory of whoever had been there longest. In kWiki the Workshop space has a “Returns” page, with “Warranty returns” and “Non-conforming parts” inside it. Each page has text, tables and photos, with the space’s tree beside it: you can see where you are and what surrounds you. When the process changes, you move the page and its subpages follow.
How it works
-
Write the page
“New page” opens the editor straight away: title, text, lists, tables and images, with no syntax to learn.
-
Put it in the right place
With “Move” you put it inside another page or at the top of the space. Its subpages travel with it.
-
Save when it’s ready
You decide when to save, and every save becomes a version. If a colleague saved first, kWiki tells you and your text stays there.
What one person knows becomes what the company knows.
What you can do
-
A real editor
Headings and subheadings, bold and italic, lists, quotes, code, tables and links, with undo and redo.
-
Images inside the page
From the button, pasted or dragged in: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP and AVIF up to 10 MB. Only people who can read the page see them.
-
One page inside another
A page can contain other pages, and the space’s tree shows them one inside the other.
-
Moving without breaking anything
If two people reorganise at the same moment, kWiki rechecks the tree at every move: no page is left orphaned.
-
Who touched it last
Each page says when it was edited and by whom: you know whether it’s fresh and who to ask.
-
Only for those who can write
Authors and Managers of the space create, edit and move pages. A Reader just reads.
Frequently asked questions
Can two of us write on the same page?
Yes, but not in real time: saving is explicit. If a colleague saved while you were writing, kWiki tells you, your changes stay there and you choose whether to reload or keep yours.
What images can I insert?
PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP and AVIF up to 10 MB each. Not SVG. Images pointing to an outside address don’t go in: they must be uploaded.
If I put a page in the trash, do its subpages disappear?
No: they move up one level and stay readable. The page goes to the space’s trash, from where it can be put back.
Can I import the documents I already have?
There is no automatic import today. Text can be pasted into the editor and, if documents are in Files, they can be inserted in the page as boxes leading to the file.
The other kWiki features
Want to see it with your procedures?
We show you kWiki with a test space: how a procedure is written, how it links to files and projects and who can read it. Half an hour, no strings attached.
