A company wiki: what your company knows, in one place
Procedures, guides, decisions, who does what: kWiki gathers them in spaces by department, linked to the files and projects they’re about. So an answer is one search away, not a round of asking.
If a procedure lives in one person’s head, it goes on holiday with them
How to process a return, who approves an expense, where the right contract is: in every company these answers live in old documents, in chats or in one person. Whoever comes next has to ask.
kWiki gives each department its own space: pages in a tree, linked to one another, holding the real file and the real project, not a copy. Every save stays in the history, and readers see only what they can already see.
Three levels, space by space
- ReaderReads the pages in the space.
- AuthorWrites and tidies the pages.
- ManagerDecides who joins and runs the space.
What you can do with it
-
Pages and tree
Procedures and guides in tree-ordered pages, with tables and images. Move a page with its subpages, and no save overwrites a colleague unnoticed.
-
Search and links
Search the text of every space you can read, and each page shows what links to it. Pages in restricted spaces stay out, titles included.
-
Files, people and projects
Insert Files documents, Projekta projects, Kontacts contacts, kDesk tickets and colleagues. Everyone sees them with their existing access.
-
Spaces and levels
One space per department or topic: you always choose who reads it, and whether each person is Reader, Author or Manager.
-
History and bin
Every save stays as a version, a restore can be undone, and a colleague’s save never replaces your work without you choosing.
-
Access and archiving
A private space doesn’t appear to those who can’t read it, archives stay read-only, and pages stay with the company when someone leaves.
Connected to the rest of Kamzan
In a page you insert a Files file, a Projekta project, a Kontacts contact, a kDesk ticket or a person. The page keeps only the reference: name and details come from that product, with the reader’s access. Anyone who can’t see that file doesn’t read its name either.
Frequently asked questions
Who can read a space?
You decide when you create it, and the choice is mandatory: only the people you add, or the whole company. Who writes you always decide person by person, with the Author and Manager levels.
Can administrators see restricted spaces?
Yes: anyone with the privilege to manage spaces is Manager everywhere, including restricted spaces. Everyone else doesn’t see them: those spaces don’t appear in lists or in search.
What if two people edit the same page?
Saving is explicit. If a colleague has saved in the meantime, kWiki tells you and overwrites nothing: you choose whether to reload or keep your changes.
Can a deleted page be recovered?
Yes: it goes to the space’s trash, and you put it back from there. Every save is a version, and you can restore an old one without losing the others.
Can people outside the company read it?
No: kWiki is internal only. No guests and no public links.
When will it be available?
kWiki is coming soon and we don’t have a date to share yet. If you’re interested, write to us: we’ll show you where it stands.
