The classroom
A video call that knows it’s a lesson
kLearning’s online sessions take place in kMeeting, with what a classroom needs: whoever enters accepts the consent, the trainer checks who is really in front of the screen, launches quizzes and gathers questions. Entries and exits end up in a signed register.
“Were you really there, or just had your camera off?”
During “Workplace safety 2026” the Studio Morelli trainer launches a presence check: everyone connected has one minute to answer “I’m here”. Then a three-question quiz to see whether the idea got across. At the end of the session the register shows who joined, when they left and how many checks they passed, ready for the client.
How it works
-
Enter with consent
From the invitation link the participant reaches the waiting room and reads the course’s privacy notice, including how long their data is kept. They accept and then enter.
-
The trainer starts the training
With “Start training” recording and tracking begin, and everyone can see the session is being recorded. From there the trainer presents their PDFs, checks attendance, launches quizzes and answers questions.
-
Close with the register
“Conclude training” dismisses the participants, while trainers and co-trainers stay in the room for the final tasks. The attendance register and the report download straight away, and the certificates start from there.
Who was there, the register says.
What you can do
-
GDPR consent on entry
Whoever enters reads the consent text or the course’s privacy document, sees how many days their data will be kept and confirms with a tick. The consent is recorded together with the attendance.
-
Presence check
Whenever they like, the trainer launches a check: each participant has 60 seconds to answer “I’m here”. The trainer immediately sees who is present and absent, and the result is recorded and appears on the certificate.
-
Live quizzes and polls
One question, the options, the correct answer if it’s a quiz or none if it’s a poll, and how many seconds to allow. Participants answer against the clock, the trainer sees the results and keeps the history of the quizzes launched.
-
Questions to the trainer
Anyone with a doubt writes the question without interrupting. It reaches only the trainer, who answers privately or publishes the question and answer for everyone, without the name of whoever asked.
-
End-of-session feedback
The trainer builds the form with 1-to-5 ratings, free text and multiple choices, required or optional. Participants fill it in at the end of the session and the results arrive with the average rating.
-
Signed attendance register
Every entry and exit is digitally signed, and the exit is chained to the entry’s signature: a time edited afterwards no longer adds up. The register, with name, email, entry, exit and duration, exports to CSV or JSON.
-
Certificates from the session
From the Training panel the trainer generates the participants’ certificates with the chosen template. Each one shows the attendance percentage and the checks passed, calculated from the register rather than declared verbally.
Frequently asked questions
Do external participants need an account to join the classroom?
No. You join the live lesson from the personal link in the invitation, straight from the browser. The Kamzan account, which kLearning creates at enrolment, is for the student area with the recorded lessons.
Can the trainer show their slides?
Yes. With “Present document” they pick a PDF from the course materials or upload it from their computer, and page through it in front of everyone. Screen sharing remains available too.
Does the attendance register count as evidence?
It’s a digitally signed register, with entry and exit times, presence-check results and a fingerprint of the recording to check its integrity. Whether it’s enough for the body or fund financing the course depends on their rules: best to check with them.
Are the lessons recorded?
Yes, from the moment the trainer starts the training, and participants see it indicated in the classroom. The recording can then become a lesson to watch again in the course’s student area.
