Quizzes

Find out whether the lesson landed, while you teach it

In the online classroom the trainer launches a question in a few seconds and, when it closes, sees how the class answered. Learners then find their progress on a single page, with no comparison with colleagues.

“Any questions?” Silence.

On Rossi & Partner’s “Workplace safety 2026” course the usual question gets no reply. With kLearning the trainer launches a thirty-second quiz: four options, only one right. Almost half the class picks the same wrong answer, and the trainer knows what to go over again before the break.

How it works

  1. Write the question

From the classroom panel in kMeeting you write the question, add the options and choose whether it is a poll or a quiz: for a quiz you mark the correct answer.

  2. Launch it with a timer

Choose how long it stays open, from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, and press “Launch”. Each participant sees a window with the question and the countdown: one click and the answer is sent.

  3. See how the class answered

When it closes the results appear: how many answers came in and the percentage for each option, with the correct answer highlighted. Everyone also sees their own choice.

One question in class is worth ten “all clear?”s.

What you can do

  • Poll or quiz, on the fly

You write the question during the lesson, when you need it, without preparing it beforehand. A poll collects opinions, a quiz checks a point with its right answer.

  • You set the time

Ten seconds for a warm-up question, five minutes for one that needs some thought. The countdown is visible to everyone and the question closes when it runs out.

  • Results as percentages

For each option a bar with the percentage who chose it, the total number of answers and the correct answer highlighted. You see at once whether the class understood or split.

  • Answers are saved

Every question launched in class and the answers received are recorded with the session; they do not vanish when the window closes.

  • The “Results” page

Learners see their study streak, longest streak and modules completed, for example the recorded lessons they have watched. Badges such as “First step”, “Steady learner” and “Week on fire” show how far there is to go.

  • No leaderboards

Results are personal: nobody sees other people’s badges or streaks, and classroom quizzes show only percentages, not names. Motivation comes from your own progress, not from comparison.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to prepare quizzes before the lesson?

No. You write the question in the classroom panel when you need it, in under a minute. You can launch as many as you like in the same session.

Do participants see each other’s answers?

Only in aggregate: when it closes everyone sees the percentage for each option and their own choice, never who answered what.

Does it work in in-person lessons too?

Quizzes and polls live in the kMeeting online classroom: they need the course’s online sessions. They are not launched in in-person sessions.

Is there a leaderboard between learners?

No, and that is deliberate. The “Results” page is personal: badges and streaks belong to the learner, not a comparison with colleagues. Course managers follow attendance and progress from their own pages.
