Everything kMeeting does, page by page
Every feature has its own page: what it does, how it works, what you can do, the most frequent questions. Deep dives sit under the feature they belong to.
kMeeting overview
Setting up the meeting
-
Organising
Instant, scheduled and recurring meetings
One click and the room is open, with the link already copied and ready to paste. Or a planned meeting with a date, invitees and reminders, which lands in everyone’s calendar and updates itself when you change the time.
-
Access
Waiting room, guests and password
No account to create, no app to download: the guest opens the link, types their name, picks a camera and microphone and waits in the waiting room. You see them arrive, hear a sound and let them in with one click.
During the meeting
-
Leading
Host controls
Whoever organises the meeting has the room in hand: they turn off a noisy microphone, decide who shares their screen, give the floor for a set time and end the meeting for everyone. With one or more co-hosts to help.
-
Collaborating
In the room: screen, chat and effects
You show your screen while a colleague shows theirs, send a file in the chat, write privately to one person, raise your hand without interrupting. And if the network acts up, kMeeting brings you back in by itself.
After the meeting
-
Recording extension
Recording with consent
When you press Record, everyone in the room gets the consent request and answers for themselves. kMeeting records everyone’s voice and the shared screen, keeps track of who said yes and when, and after the meeting can send the materials to those who attended.
-
With the Recording extension
Transcript and minutes
From the recording, kMeeting produces the text of everything that was said, with the name of who was speaking. Then it condenses it into tidy minutes: summary, topics, decisions, action items and open questions, ready to send.
Security and training
-
End-to-end encryption extension
End-to-end encryption
Voice, faces and shared screen are encrypted on the speaker’s device and decrypted only on the listeners’ devices. The server forwards them without being able to read them: not even we who run it can.
-
Training extension
Training mode
The session is recorded, attendance counts itself, participants answer quizzes and polls and receive their certificate at the end. You get a full report to hand to whoever asks for it.
