Organising

From the quick call to the every-Monday meeting

One click and the room is open, with the link already copied and ready to paste. Or a planned meeting with a date, invitees and reminders, which lands in everyone’s calendar and updates itself when you change the time.

Organising a meeting shouldn’t cost more than the meeting

Creating the link, writing the invitation, updating the calendar, warning the client when the call slips by an hour: those minutes add up. In kMeeting the meeting is born with everything attached. If it’s now, one click is enough. If it’s Thursday at 10, Studio Morelli sets the date, duration and invitees once: invitations, reminders and updates go out without anyone having to think about them again.

How it works

  1. Start now or schedule

“Start a meeting now” opens the room and copies the link. “Schedule meeting” asks for a title, date, duration, calendar and, if needed, the recurrence: daily, weekly, monthly or with a custom pattern.

  2. Add the invitees

Colleagues and external addresses, with co-hosts already named. Everyone gets the invitation with the link and an .ics file for their own calendar: colleagues in their language, external guests in the language you choose.

  3. kMeeting reminds and keeps everyone up to date

Before the start, reminders go out by email and as browser notifications. If you move the meeting or cancel it, invitees receive the update and the calendar realigns itself.

You decide when. Invitations, reminders and updates go out on their own.

What you can do

  • The meeting on the fly

One click on “Start a meeting now” and you’re in, with the link already on your clipboard: paste it into a chat or an email and the others join you from their browser, without installing anything.

  • Recurring, with the same link

For the Monday team meeting choose “Single room”: one link for every occurrence, which participants save once. If you prefer, each occurrence can have its own link instead.

  • Reminders that actually arrive

Up to five reminders per meeting, from five minutes to one day before, by email and as browser notifications. Nobody finds out at the last minute that the call was at three.

  • Changes and cancellations communicated

Change the date, time or title and the update reaches invitees and linked calendars, including clients such as Apple Calendar or eM Client. If you cancel, everyone is notified. The change history stays on the meeting.

  • The video call starts from Kalendo

While you create an event in Kalendo, “Add video call” attaches a kMeeting room to it. And from the quick button available in every app of the ecosystem, or from Kamzan Desktop, you open a room and copy its link without switching windows.

  • A link that introduces itself

Pasted into WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or kTalk, the link to a meeting open to guests turns into a card with the title, host and time. For end-to-end encrypted meetings the card shows nothing about the meeting.

  • Invitations in the reader’s language

Colleagues receive invitations and reminders in their account language. For external invitees you choose the language from the seven available; if you don’t know it, kMeeting uses yours.

Frequently asked questions

Do invitees need a Kamzan account?

No. If the meeting admits guests, whoever receives the link joins from their browser by entering their first and last name, without registering or installing anything. End-to-end encrypted meetings are the exception: there, external people join only with a personal email invitation.

Can I always use the same link for a weekly meeting?

Yes: create the meeting as recurring and choose “Single room (same link for all occurrences)”. Each occurrence remains a session with its own date and time, but there is only one link. Alternatively you can create separate meetings, each with its own link.

What happens if I move or cancel the meeting?

Invitees receive an email with the update and the new .ics file, so their calendar corrects itself. Date, time and title also sync with linked calendars. If you cancel, everyone receives the cancellation notice.

Why does the link preview sometimes not show the title?

By design. The preview is generated by the messaging service, which keeps it: title, host and time appear only for meetings open to guests, never for end-to-end encrypted ones. Otherwise the card shows only “Meeting” with your company’s brand.
