Note editor
Open, write, close: the note is already saved
Your work notes in one place, not scattered across sticky notes, emails to yourself and personal apps. Notika gives you a real editor — headings, lists, tables, images — with no syntax to learn and no “Save” button to remember.
A note is worth something only if you find it as you left it
During a call with Studio Morelli there is no time to choose a format or look for where to save. In Notika you just start writing: the first line becomes the title, formatting is one click away on the toolbar, and every change saves itself as you type. When you reopen it, you find it exactly as it was — laid out, with tables and images in place.
How it works
-
You start writing
“New note” and you are already in. The first line becomes the title until you write your own: no forms to fill in before you can jot something down.
-
You shape the text
From the toolbar you pick the paragraph style, make text bold, highlight, create a list or a table, drop in an image. It is a visual editor: what you see is what stays.
-
Notika saves on its own
Every change is saved as you type, and also when you close the tab. At the top of the note you read “Saved at 10:42”: you can move on without a second thought.
You think about what to write. Notika takes care of saving it.
What you can do
-
Paragraph styles, not symbols
Body text, Title, Heading, Subtitle and Quote from a menu; bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and code in one click. No Markdown to remember: whoever writes sees the result straight away.
-
Highlighter in five colours
Yellow, green, light blue, pink and purple: to mark the figure to double-check or the sentence to pass on to the client, just as you would on paper.
-
Tables that adapt
Insert a table, add rows and columns, widen columns by dragging, merge or split cells. For comparing quotes or drawing up an agenda you do not need to open a spreadsheet.
-
Images inside the note
The photo of the whiteboard after the meeting or the screenshot of an error go where they belong, in the text. Up to 10 MB each, and you resize them by dragging the corner.
-
Find in note
In long minutes you find a word without scrolling: matches light up and you jump from one to the next. Undo and redo are always there if you change your mind.
-
A colour for each note
Red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue or purple: the tint appears beside the note in the list and lets you spot clients or priorities at a glance. A similar note? “Duplicate” and start from there.
-
Light or dark, in your language
Dark theme for those who write in the evening or in dimly lit rooms, and the interface in Italian, English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese and Portuguese.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know Markdown to write in Notika?
No. Notika’s editor is visual: you pick the style from the toolbar and see the result immediately, as in a word processor. Markdown only comes in if you want it: you can import an .md file or download the note in that format.
If I close the browser suddenly, do I lose what I wrote?
No. Notika saves at every pause while you type and, on top of that, when you close the note or the tab: even the last keystroke gets through. At the top of the note you always see the time of the last save.
How large can images be?
Up to 10 MB per image. Inside the note you can resize them by dragging and bring them back to their original size in one click. Images and voice notes use the company’s storage, which the administrator sees in the Control centre.
Can I use Notika from my phone?
Yes, from your phone’s browser: the interface adapts to the small screen. There is no app to install, and you need a connection — notes live on the company’s server, not on the device.
