Following up deals
Follow-ups no longer depend on memory.
The client said “let’s talk again on Tuesday”, the sticky note ended up under the keyboard and Tuesday came and went. In Kore every call, email or meeting to be done has a due date, a person and a reminder, and every morning the dashboard puts in front of you what is overdue, what needs doing today and which deals nobody has touched in weeks.
Activities live where you need to find them
An activity is a call, an email, a meeting, a note or a to-do. You log it from the record of a company, a contact or an opportunity, and it stays there: open the record and at the top is what is still to be done, below it the history of what happened, with the outcome written by whoever completed it. You can assign it to a colleague, who is alerted through the bell, and set a reminder that arrives before the due date. “My activities” gathers everything you are responsible for, wherever it is attached. For steps that always repeat the same way — first call, recap email, follow-up call after a week — there is the sequence: write it once and start it from a record.
How it works
-
Log or plan
From the record, choose the type, write a title and, if needed, a due date with time and a reminder. A call that has already happened is saved as completed straight away, with its outcome.
-
Find it every morning
The dashboard opens with four panels: Overdue, Today, Gone quiet — opportunities with no activity for three weeks — and Closing soon, those due to close within seven days. Empty panels do not appear.
-
Complete it with the outcome
Mark the activity as completed and write how it went. It moves to the record’s history, where the next person to open the client reads what was said.
Every morning you know who to call back.
What you can do
-
Five types, no orphans
Call, Email, Meeting, Note, To do: each activity has a title, notes, a due date with time and a person it is assigned to. Without a link to a company, contact or opportunity it cannot be saved, so none ends up as a lost sticky note.
-
Reminders before the due date
The reminder has its own day and time and arrives in the bell of whoever is responsible for the activity, which takes you to the opportunity or to your activities. If the activity has been completed in the meantime, it is not sent.
-
My activities
A personal queue with everything you are responsible for — to do at the top, history below — and the button to create a new one, choosing what to attach it to.
-
Follow-up sequences
In Settings you write a sequence as a list of steps, each with a type, title and working day from the start. Started from a record, it creates all the activities with their due dates, at 9 a.m. on the right day, for the opportunity owner or for whoever you choose.
-
Weekends and holidays skipped
Sequence days are working days: Saturdays, Sundays and Italian national holidays do not count. A “call today” started on a Sunday falls due on Monday.
-
Stop it when the client replies
The record shows the sequences in progress and how many activities are still to do. Stopping one removes those not yet done; completed ones stay in the history.
Frequently asked questions
Does the reminder arrive by email?
No: it arrives in the Kamzan notification bell, to whoever is responsible for the activity, at the time you set. The same goes for when a colleague assigns you an activity.
Can I edit colleagues’ activities?
You can edit the activities you created or that are assigned to you. Those linked to other people’s opportunities are visible only to whoever has the “Sees everyone’s opportunities” privilege.
If I change a sequence, do the ones already started change?
No. The activities created by a started sequence are ordinary activities: you edit or complete them one by one. Changing or archiving the sequence only applies to future starts.
