Kalendo extension

Your booking link gets copied without opening the browser.

Kamzan Desktop is Kamzan’s app for Windows and macOS. With this extension Kalendo comes into it in a version made for consulting: today’s commitments one click from the system tray, the calendar in the window, and your booking pages ready to send to a client while you write to them.

Consult in Desktop, manage in Kalendo

The panel that opens from the icon in the system tray has a “Today” tab: there, in a single list, are the day’s Kalendo appointments and kMeeting meetings, the one in progress at the top, with “Join” when the commitment carries a kMeeting link. Below appear your booking pages with “Copy link”. In the main window, the Kalendo page shows the events from your calendars and from those shared with you, each in its own colour, in three views: List with today and the next seven days, Week and Month; from the “Calendars” menu you hide the ones you do not need. The “Booking pages” tab lists your active pages with their duration, “Copy link” and the link to the public page. It is a version for consulting, and we say so plainly: creating and editing events, setting up booking pages and availability polls is done in Kalendo in the browser, which “Open Kalendo” and “Manage in Kalendo” take you to. Bookings that come in need no separate screen: they are already appointments in the calendar, and you see them there.

How it works

  1. Sign in to Kamzan Desktop

With your Kamzan account, as on the web. If you have the “Desktop app” privilege, Kalendo appears among the apps in the sidebar and its commitments in the panel.

  2. Check your day from the system tray

Click the icon, “Today” tab: appointments and meetings in order, “Join” when there is a kMeeting meeting to reach.

  3. Copy the link and send it

“Copy link” next to the right booking page, and you paste it into the email to the client. When they book, the appointment appears in the calendar.

Your day next to the clock. Your link one click away.

What you can do

  • Today, in the system tray

Kalendo appointments and kMeeting meetings in a single list, without duplicates: a meeting that has its own event in the calendar appears once.

  • “Join” where needed

If an event carries a kMeeting link, “Join” sits next to it: one click and you are in the room, without hunting for the invitation.

  • The calendar in the window

List of the next seven days, Week or Month, with back, forward and “Today”. The calendars you hide stay hidden on that computer.

  • Your booking pages, ready to copy

Only yours and only active ones, with title and duration. “Copy link” puts on the clipboard the same address you would copy from Kalendo on the web.

  • Editing stays in Kalendo

Events, booking pages and polls are created and changed in Kalendo in the browser: from Desktop you get there with one click on “Open Kalendo”.

Frequently asked questions

What is needed to use Kalendo in Kamzan Desktop?

Kamzan Desktop active for the company, this extension on in Kalendo — it already is, unless it was turned off — and the “Desktop app” privilege in your user type. The booking pages tab appears for anyone who has at least one active page.

Can I create events or polls from Desktop?

No. In Desktop, Kalendo is for consulting: commitments, calendar and booking page links. Events, booking pages and availability polls are created and edited in Kalendo in the browser.

Where do I see incoming bookings?

In the calendar, like any other appointment: a booking is already an event, so you find it in the panel’s “Today” tab and in the views of the Kalendo page.
