kSocial extension
Notes about the client live in their project, not in a notebook.
The kick-off meeting, the request that came in by phone, the “remember we close in December”: they end up in a notebook, in a chat or in the head of whoever was there. With Project notes every kSocial project has its own “Notes” section, written with the Notika editor and shared automatically with the internal people working on it.
One note, in two places
A note created in kSocial is born in Notika, in the author’s “Social › project name” folder, and is shared automatically, with editing rights, with the project’s internal people. A client who joins the project as a guest does not see it. You work from both sides: in kSocial next to the calendar, in Notika with “Open in Notika”, alongside your other notes. The note saves itself as you type and stays with whoever wrote it. Notika must be active for the company, and the project’s people must be part of it.
How it works
-
Turn on the extension
With Notika active, the administrator turns on “Project notes (Notika)” from the kSocial Control centre, among the extensions. A “Notes” section appears in every project.
-
Write the note
“New note”, a title and the text: notes, checklists, images. The note saves itself and appears in the list on the left, with who wrote it and when.
-
Work from wherever you like
Colleagues on the project find it already shared, with editing rights. Anyone who prefers Notika opens it there, in the project folder, alongside their usual notes.
What the client said in the meeting stays in their project.
What you can do
-
Shared with the people on the project
The note reaches the project’s internal people without inviting them one by one, already editable. It stays with whoever wrote it.
-
Never with the client
A client who joins the project as a guest does not receive the team’s notes: that is where you can write what you really think of their request.
-
The Notika editor
Headings, lists, checklists and images, with the same editor as the company’s other notes. It saves as you type, with no button to remember.
-
Tidy in Notika too
In Notika, kSocial notes sit in the “Social › project name” folder: no note lost among the others, each one knows which client it belongs to.
-
Rename, duplicate, bin
From the note’s menu: “Duplicate” to start from minutes that are already set up; if a note is deleted by mistake, it goes to the Notika bin and can be recovered from there.
-
From the note to the editorial plan
With the AI assistant extension, the note’s menu starts “Editorial plan with the AI”: the plan’s slides written from the notes of the meeting with the client.
Frequently asked questions
Can the client see the team’s notes?
No. A note written in kSocial is shared only with the project’s internal people: anyone who joins as a guest does not receive it.
Do I need Notika?
Yes: the note lives in Notika. Notika must be active for the company and the project’s people must be part of it. If it is missing, the Notes section says so instead of staying empty.
What happens if I delete a note?
It goes to the Notika bin, from where it can be recovered. Other people’s notes, which you can edit, remain theirs.
