Kontacts · Address books
Your company’s contacts in one place, on your phone too
Kontacts brings clients, suppliers and partners together in address books you share with the right colleagues. The supplier’s number no longer lives on one person’s phone: you find it in Kontacts, on iPhone and Mac via CardDAV, and in the other Kamzan apps.
Your company’s contacts live in ten different places
Personal phonebooks, Excel exports, the mailbox of whoever left. When you need a contact, nobody knows which version is right.
Without a shared address book
- Duplicate, out-of-sync contacts across phones, Excel sheets and personal mailboxes.
- When someone leaves the company, their contacts leave with them.
- No standard: numbers and emails sit in silos that don’t talk to each other.
With Kontacts
- Address books shared with the colleagues who need them, kept up to date in one place.
- The supplier’s number no longer lives on one person’s phone: it’s in the company address book.
- CardDAV: the same contacts on iPhone, Mac and Thunderbird, with changes flowing both ways.
The right address books for the right people
Organise contacts into several address books — customers, suppliers, a department, a project — each with a name and colour. Share every one with colleagues read-only or read-write: the sales book to the sales team, the suppliers book to purchasing. Each record keeps emails, phones, addresses, organisation, categories and notes together.
From scattered contacts to a shared address book, in four steps
- 01 Import Bring existing address books in from vCard, CSV or another CardDAV server.
- 02 Organise Group contacts into named, colour-coded books, with categories and organisations.
- 03 Share Share each address book with the right colleagues, as read only or read and write.
- 04 Sync Connect iPhone, Mac and Thunderbird via CardDAV: changes flow both ways.
No copy and paste: a contact goes in once and you find it in Kontacts, on your phone and in the other Kamzan apps.
One address book, many views
The same contacts, shown the way you need them: cards, a dense list, grouped by organisation or opened in detail.
The card grid: avatar, name, company and contact at a glance.
The compact list to quickly scan many contacts and find the right one.
Contacts grouped by company: all of a client’s people together.
The full record: contact details, company, categories, notes and the address book it belongs to.
You save a contact once. After that it belongs to the company, not to someone’s phone.
The same contacts on your phone too
Kontacts is a CardDAV server, the open standard for contacts. Paste the CardDAV URL into Apple Contacts on iPhone and Mac, into Thunderbird or another CardDAV client: edit a record once and find it everywhere, both ways. Each connection uses an app password you can revoke whenever you like.
- Standard CardDAVNo lock-in: any CardDAV client connects to your address books.
- App passwordsEach device has its own password, copied once and revocable without touching the others.
- Always alignedA change made on the phone reaches Kontacts, and the other way round: no diverging versions.
AI search
Search contacts the way you would ask out loud
Type “find all contacts in Milan” and Kontacts shows you the list. The AI model only receives your question and the structure of the data, never the contacts, and the search runs read-only. The feature is there when your company has configured an AI model, and you use it from a computer.
- Ask in natural language Ask the way you would ask a colleague: city, company, department or category, even combined.
- The model never gets your contacts It only receives the question and the structure of the address book: names, emails and phone numbers stay in Kontacts, and the search can only read.
- With your company’s model AI search is available once the company configures an AI model, and the administrator decides who can use it.
The same address book in every Kamzan app
When you invite someone in Kalendo, write in kMail, share in Files or add signers in kSign, addresses come from the address book as you type. And the people you invite in Kalendo and kMeeting, share with in Files and involve in Flow end up in a collection address book of your own: you never copy anyone by hand.
Everything you need to manage business contacts
-
Contacts and companies
Every person and company you work with on one clear card: contact details, role, address, notes and categories. Link the company in one click and copy the contact to another address book when needed.
-
Address books and sharing
Several address books per person, each with its own name and colour. Share clients with whoever runs the account, read-only or read and write, and revoke access when it is no longer needed.
-
Find who you are looking for
Type part of a name, email, phone number, company or city and Kontacts finds the contact across all your address books. Cards, list or grouped by company, with an alphabetical index to jump to a letter.
-
Natural language search
Ask for “suppliers in Bergamo” or “who works in purchasing at Ferrari Design” and Kontacts answers with the right contacts. Only your question goes to the AI model, never your contacts, and the search runs read-only.
-
Import and export
Bring the address book you already have into Kontacts: drag in a vCard or CSV file, check the preview and choose what to do with existing contacts. Or pull it from another CardDAV server. And download it again as .vcf whenever you like.
-
On your phone with CardDAV
Kontacts contacts in your phone’s address book: when a client calls, you see their name. Connect an iPhone, Mac or Thunderbird with one address and an app password, and changes travel both ways.
-
Contacts that collect themselves
You invite a client to a meeting, share a folder with them, write to them: their address lands in your personal address book on its own. Next time it is already suggested. Everyone has their own, colleagues don’t see it.
-
The address book in every app
Type two letters and Kontacts suggests the right contact, while you invite in Kalendo, write in kMail, share in Files or add a signer in kSign. And from any app you find a number without leaving the page.
Frequently asked questions about business address books
Can I share address books with my team?
Yes: share each address book with the colleagues you choose, as read only or read and write, and revoke access whenever you like. The administrator decides who can share.
Does Kontacts support CardDAV?
Yes: Kontacts is a CardDAV server. With the CardDAV URL and an app password you connect Apple Contacts on iPhone and Mac, Thunderbird or another CardDAV client, and changes flow both ways.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes: import vCard (.vcf) and CSV files, with the columns recognised automatically, or the address books of another CardDAV server. From vCard and CardDAV you can add only new contacts, so you don’t create duplicates.
Where is contact data stored?
Kontacts data is stored on servers in Europe, within the Kamzan ecosystem, kept separate from other companies’ data.
