Connections
A call that does not stay on the phone
The old answering machine leaves a message to copy out. kVoice works where you already work: it recognises the customer from your contacts, puts the appointment in the diary, opens the ticket and passes the data to your business software if you have one.
Every connection is a switch, none is mandatory
An Officina Ferrero customer calls from a number already in the contacts: the assistant greets them by name, without saying anything else from their record. They report a fault and a ticket is created in kDesk, in the area the garage chose; they get the reference and the call ends. kVoice also works alone: each function tied to another product turns on when that product is there, and if you remove it the assistant stops promising it.
How it works
-
Turn the function on
In Functions you choose what the assistant can do: recognise callers, book, open tickets, answer from documents. A function that needs a product says so.
-
Choose where it ends up
The kDesk area and category, each person’s Kalendo booking page, the Files folder. You decide, not the model.
-
The rest arrives on its own
At the end of the call the log shows the appointment, the ticket and the link to the customer’s record. With a webhook the same event also reaches your software.
The call ends. The work is already in its place.
What you can do
-
It recognises callers
It looks the number up in Kontacts and Kore and greets by name only if it finds exactly one person. When in doubt it says nothing, and it never mentions the rest of the record.
-
Misheard names, checked
Names are hard to catch on the phone. The assistant looks them up in the contacts as it talks, people and companies, and asks for confirmation before using one.
-
A memory that asks first
If you turn it on, someone introducing themselves from a new number becomes a proposal. The assistant greets them by name only after a person has confirmed it; idle proposals are deleted after 90 days.
-
The fault becomes a ticket
The assistant gathers what is happening and opens the ticket in kDesk in the area you chose, with the code to give the caller. Urgency and category set the priority.
-
Signed webhooks to your software
On plans that include them, your CRM, business software, Zapier or Make receive every call and callback, HMAC-signed, with retries for about 22 hours. The transcript only if you enable it.
-
A read-only API
On plans that include it, your software reads calls and callbacks when it wants, with a company key that stays valid even if its creator leaves. It can be revoked in one click.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need other Kamzan products to use kVoice?
No. Callback requests, answers from your website and handing over to a person work on their own. Kalendo, kDesk, Files and the contacts add appointments, tickets, documents and caller recognition.
Does the assistant tell callers what is in their record?
No. From the contacts it only uses the name to greet. If different people share a number, or there is only a company, it does not greet by name. You see the link to the record in the log.
What does a webhook contain?
Data from three events: call logged, new callback request, request updated. The transcript is not sent by default: only someone with the privilege to read it can turn it on. If the webhook’s owner loses their privileges, sending stops.
Can the API also change data?
No. It is read-only: call log, callback requests and, if the key has the permission, transcripts. Up to 120 requests per minute per key. The key is shown only once and lasts until you revoke it.
