Assistant setup

You set it up in your own words, and hear it before your customers do

Putting an assistant on the phone is daunting for one reason: you do not know what it will say. With kVoice you set it up by answering a few questions, change a rule by writing it as you would tell a colleague, and talk to it yourself before it goes live.

No setup project: you start from who you are

At Studio Morelli the owner has a quarter of an hour between clients. The guide asks for name, sector and hours, when to answer, with what greeting and what the assistant should do, and picks up where it was left. The following Monday he changes Saturday’s hours with one sentence in the chat, checks the proposal and presses Apply. If something is not right, the history puts everything back.

How it works

  1. The guide asks the questions

On first opening, one step at a time: your business, hours, when it answers, the greeting, what it does, who it hands calls to. You can stop: it stays on the edge until you confirm.

  2. You talk to it like a customer

In “Try the assistant” you type or speak into the microphone. You see the answer and the reason: which documents it found, what it would have booked. Real actions do not fire.

  3. You correct it with one sentence

You tell kVoice what is wrong. It proposes the change with before and after, and it only becomes real when you press Apply. Then you test again.

First you try it. Then your customers hear it.

What you can do

  • Ask kVoice

“We open from 9 to 12 on Saturdays.” The chat turns the sentence into a proposed change and checks it with the same rules as saving.

  • You always decide

The chat writes nothing on its own: nothing changes until you press Apply. It does not touch numbers, closures or the opening notice, and if something must be done outside the chat it tells you.

  • The test also says why

Under each answer you see what it searched for, which passages it found and which action it would have taken. If an answer is wrong, you know where it came from.

  • Sentences checked before they are spoken

The software stops promises the assistant cannot make, times and dates it has never seen, amounts that are not in the documents and actions announced without being carried out.

  • Every change can be undone

Who changed what and when, from the page or the chat, for 12 months. Undo puts the settings back, unless they have changed again in the meantime.

  • It starts from your trade

Choose your sector, from garage to medical practice: the assistant calls the business by the right word and suggests functions, instructions and sample services. You apply or ignore them.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a technician to set up kVoice?

No. The guide asks simple questions, and everything can be changed later from the assistant’s tabs or by writing it in the chat. You can even confirm with empty fields and fill them in later: until then the assistant works with what it knows.

Does it really book during a test?

No. Booking, opening a ticket, sending a text or handing over to a person do not fire in a test: you see what it would have done, with the data. The test does not enter the log or the alerts. It does read the real information, and it is a small usage, shown separately.

Can I test it by voice, without calling?

Yes. From the browser you speak into the microphone and the assistant replies with its voice, as on the phone; or you type. Your company needs an active kVoice number, because the test uses the same configuration as real calls.

Who can change the settings?

Only people with the “Assistant setup” privilege: guide, chat, test and history are theirs. Everyone else uses the log and callbacks according to their own privileges.
