Kore CRM extension
A new sale and a renewal do not go through the same stages.
A renewal does not need a “first contact”, an upsell does not start from scratch, a tender has steps a direct sale never sees. With a single pipeline you end up with stages that only half apply, or a separate spreadsheet for renewals. With Multiple pipelines each sales process has its own board, with its own stages, and opportunities stay inside theirs.
One process, one board
In Kore’s settings, under “Pipelines”, the list is on the left and the selected pipeline on the right: name, colour, a description of what it is for and its stages, each with its own colour. One is the default, marked with a star, and it is the one that opens first. On the Pipeline page, as soon as there is more than one, tabs appear at the top to switch between them; with just one nothing appears and everything stays as it was. History stays separate too: when a stage has little data, the calculated probability falls back on its own pipeline, not the renewals one.
How it works
-
Create the pipeline
A name, for example “Renewals”, and the pipeline is in the list. Give it a colour and a line explaining when to use it.
-
Give it its stages
Add the stages that process really goes through, each with its own colour. Without at least one stage the pipeline cannot be used, and Kore reminds you.
-
Work on its board
On the Pipeline page pick the tab and drag opportunities from one stage to the next, as always. “Make default” decides which one opens first.
Every sales process with its own stages.
What you can do
-
Stages that fit
Each pipeline has its own stages, with a name and colour you change from the same page. Renaming a stage does not touch the opportunities inside it.
-
One default
The pipeline with the star is the one that opens when nobody picks another. There is always exactly one, and if the default is deleted Kore promotes another.
-
Tabs only when needed
With a single pipeline the board stays clean; from the second one on, tabs with the names appear, and whoever works on renewals opens theirs directly.
-
History that does not mix
With Sales and forecast, the calculated probability looks at the stage and, if data is scarce, its pipeline: renewals, which almost always close, do not inflate new sales.
-
Protected deletion
A pipeline that still has stages cannot be deleted: the opportunities inside would be left with nowhere to go. Kore explains this before asking for confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
Without the extension, do I have a pipeline?
Yes: the default pipeline is always there, with stages you can rename, recolour, add and remove. The extension is for creating more alongside it.
If we turn the extension off, do the pipelines we created disappear?
No. They all stay, with their opportunities, and can still be opened, renamed and deleted. All you lose is the ability to create new ones.
Who can create and change pipelines?
Whoever administers Kore, from the settings. Everyone else sees the pipelines on the board and works in them, without being able to change their structure.
