This notice explains how we process the personal data of visitors to www.kamzan.com and its product subdomains, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018.

The site is static and uses no database: it creates no accounts, does not profile visitors and does not store the pages you visit.

What data we process

Data you provide through the contact form (the Contact page or the site’s help chat, which sends the request to the same address). When you fill in the form we ask for:

  • name and email address (required);
  • company and phone (optional);
  • the type of request (demo, information, quote, partnership, support);
  • your message.

We also process the email address you use if you write to us directly at hello@kamzan.com.

Technical browsing data. The service that delivers the form temporarily reads your IP address solely to prevent abuse (rate limiting): the IP is kept in memory for at most 60 seconds and is never stored or linked to your identity.

Anonymous traffic statistics. We use Umami installed on our own servers, collecting only aggregated metrics (page views, referrer, device type, language). Umami uses no cookies, does not track people across sites and does not store your IP address: it only uses it, on the spot, to compute a temporary identifier that changes every day. Heatmaps. On a few pages only (home, contact, ecosystem and the main page of each product) Umami also records where people click and how far they scroll, as anonymous coordinates, to build aggregated maps of how those pages are used. It does not record what you type into forms, does not capture your screen and stores nothing on your device. From the IP address, again on the spot and without storing it, Umami also derives the approximate country and city of the visit.

  • To reply to your requests sent via the form or email — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given before you submit, and any pre-contractual measures you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent automated abuse — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing or profiling. We make no automated decisions.

How and for how long we keep the data

Form data is not stored by the website: it is forwarded by email to our company mailbox, where it is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless the law requires otherwise or we need it to defend a legal claim.

Who we share the data with

Data is handled by the Controller’s authorised staff and may be processed, as Data Processors, by the following providers of technical services:

  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — delivery of the form emails via SMTP relay. Servers are in the European Union.
  • Hosting provider — the servers running the site and mailbox. (Provider to be finalised: this entry will be updated at launch.)

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area; should this become necessary, it will only happen with appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 ff. GDPR.

Your rights

At any time you may exercise the rights under Art. 15-22 GDPR:

  • access your data and obtain a copy;
  • request its rectification or erasure;
  • request restriction of processing or object to processing;
  • obtain the portability of your data;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, write to hello@kamzan.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

The site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect legal or technical changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
