Finding a contact again

On the «Contacts» page, the «Search contacts…» field is in the toolbar above the list, on the left: type and the list narrows as you go. The x inside the field clears it.

⚠️ The search looks at the address book chosen in the dropdown next to the field. If you cannot find someone, before concluding they are not there, open that dropdown and choose «All address books».

When you do not remember the name

• If you remember the company but not the person: the third small «Change view» button, on the right of the same toolbar, is «By organization» — contacts grouped by company.
• If you only remember what kind of contact it was (a supplier, a partner), open a few cards and look at the «Categories»: a separate page explains how they work.

If you read «No contacts found» with a word you are sure of, try a shorter one: a few letters are enough.

On a phone: the list is grouped by initial and on the right edge there is the «Jump to letter» index — tap the letter of the surname and the list jumps there.

Searching in your own words

For questions like “all the contacts in Milan” there is the sparkle icon top right («AI Search…»): it has a page of its own.
