“Make it just like last year’s”
The “2025” folder has twelve months, each with “Income”, “Expenses”, “Bank”. For 2026 you do not rebuild it: right-click → Clone structure → destination. All the folders are there, empty, in ten seconds.
A copy of the shape, not the content
Clone structure takes the tree of folders and subfolders of an existing folder and recreates it in a new location, with a new name if you like. Files are not copied: it is the operation for starting again from a shape that worked, not for duplicating an archive. The new folders’ permissions are those inherited from the destination, not the original’s — so a structure cloned into another client’s folder does not bring along the first client’s people.

On the folder with the right shape.

Choose destination and name
Where the copy should be born and what it is called: “2026”, “Client Bianchi”. Files shows only the folders where you can create.

Done
“Folder ‘2026’ was created successfully”, with all subfolders. If you will use that structure again, save it as a template.
Last year’s shape, empty, in ten seconds.

Folders only: the copy is instant and does not double the space used.

The new folders inherit from where you put them, not from where they come from. No access carried over by mistake.

Frequently asked questions
When to use Clone structure and when a template?
Clone when you use the shape once and have it in front of you. Template when you will use it again, or someone else who cannot see the original must use it.
Can I clone into another workspace?
Yes, if you can create folders in the destination. The new folders belong to the destination workspace, with its members and rules.
What if I want the files too?
Then it is “Duplicate”, which copies everything — files included — and for watermarked files warns that the copy is born without.
