Goals on hours
A «Goal» is a target on hours: “no more than 80 hours a month on this project”, “at least 4 hours a week of training”. It is there to notice before, not at the end of the month.
To create one you need to:
- In the left-hand menu, «Agenda», then the «Goals» tab at the top of the page.
- The blue «New goal» button at the top right.
- In the window that opens, choose the type — «Personal», «Project budget», «Team», «Custom» — then the «Name», what to count («Count hours on»: a project, an activity, a client…), the «Period» and the «Direction»: «Maximum (at most X hours)» or «Minimum (at least X hours)», with the «Target (hours)».
Every goal is a card with a progress bar; when you get close to the limit (or stay under the minimum) the card flags it and a warning appears.
⚠️ It blocks nothing
A goal does not prevent logging more hours: it warns and that is all. It is designed that way — work does not stop because a number has been exceeded; what matters is that someone notices and decides.
On the card, the «View hours» icon (an arrow leaving a box) opens the entries that are feeding that number, so you understand where it comes from.
Archiving instead of deleting
A finished goal gets archived: on the card, the box icon «Archive». It disappears from the active list but its history stays — you see it again with the box icon «Show archived» at the top right, next to «New goal», and from there «Reactivate».
If instead you delete it (the bin on the card), the linked entries are not touched — only the target disappears.
