Klokka guide

How many hours have I done

In the left-hand menu, «Time entries», then the «Hours worked» tab at the top of the page. It is the screen that answers “am I on track?”.

It is a table with one row per month of the year (you change year with the arrows at the top): for each month the «Total» of hours logged next to the «Target hours», that is how many were expected of you. The difference between the two is what counts.

Under the table, the «Overtime bank» box is the running total: the hours done over or under the target, added up over time. It is the number to look at before asking for time in lieu. (In organisations that pay extra hours instead of banking them, the same box is called «Overtime hours».)

Where the target comes from

You do not write it: it comes from the working hours set for you (hours per day, working days, full or part time). If it looks wrong, it is the setting that needs correcting, not the entries — talk to whoever manages Klokka.

Absences count

An approved day of holiday does not leave you in debt of hours: it is taken off the target. If it does not add up, check that the absence was approved and not just requested.

Other people’s hours

Those allowed to find, at the top right, the «My hours» dropdown: from there they pick a colleague and see their table.
