Filling in the week on one screen
In the left-hand menu, «Time entries», then the «Weekly hours» tab at the top of the page. It is a table: one row per client-project-activity, one column for each day from Monday to Sunday.
To add hours click the empty cell of the right day: the «New entry» window opens already filled in with that project and that date — just write how long.
To correct click a cell that already has a number: «Edit entry» opens. If that cell holds several entries, a badge with the count appears: clicking it shows them all in a list and you choose which to open (or «New entry» to add another).
At the bottom you find the total of each day and the «Week total» — which is the number you are usually looking for.
You move with the arrows next to the week, at the top; «Today» brings you back to this one.
Why it beats the timer
The timer is made for the moment you are working. This screen is made for Friday evening, when you have to tidy up the week and see at a glance where hours are missing.
