The timer won't start, hour budget used up

On some projects it is agreed in advance how many hours you can put in. When they are gone, the timer no longer starts on that project: nothing is broken, it is the cap that was set.

«My projects», at the top of the left-hand menu (just under «Dashboard»), tells you where you stand: under «Hour budget», one card per project with the hours «Used», the «Remaining» ones and the «Total allocated», plus the «Active» or «Depleted» badge. If few are left, you see it before running into the wall.

If the cap is used up but the work is not, it needs to be extended: only an administrator can do that. The hours already logged stay where they are — nothing is lost.

If you are responsible for some projects

On the same page, under «Projects I’m responsible for», you find the projects and sub-projects that concern you, and with «Open» you enter each one’s page.

If you manage the caps

In the left-hand menu, «Management», then the «Staff hour allowance» tab at the top of the page: one row per collaborator and project, with the hours allocated, the deadline and the warning thresholds. With the blue «New budget» button at the top right you assign one; on the row, the pencil edits it (that is where it gets extended).

⚠️ If you delete it, the hours already logged stay, but that person can no longer log new ones on that project until you assign them another one. From the outside it looks like a fault: it is this.

It is a wide table: on a phone it does not open, and it tells you so.
