The meetings bin

A meeting is not deleted at once. On the «Meetings» page, on the row, the bin icon («Delete») opens the «Move to trash» confirmation: «The meeting will be moved to trash: it will be removed from the calendars it was added to and the invitees will receive a cancellation notice.» Meetings in progress cannot be deleted: first «End meeting».

«Trash» is the entry at the bottom of the left menu. At the top the tabs «All», «Ended», «Cancelled», and the «Search meetings…» field. Each meeting shows the « days remaining», and those close to the end are marked «Expiring soon». After that period they disappear by themselves — the number of days is read by clicking the i next to the «Trash» title at the top («Meetings are automatically deleted after days»).

To get it back: «Restore» on the row; you read «The meeting has been successfully restored» and find it again in «Meetings».

To close it sooner: «Delete permanently», on the row as well. ⚠️ The confirmation says «This action is irreversible. The meeting and all associated data will be permanently deleted.» — with the meeting go the recordings, attendance and invites too.

There is no button to empty the whole bin at once: you delete one meeting at a time, or wait for the expiry.
