Creating and managing your calendars

Calendars are managed from the «Calendars» panel: it is the button at the top right of the «Calendar» page, and opens a panel from the right edge with the list.

Creating one

  1. Click «Calendars» at the top right.
  2. At the top of the panel, the + («New calendar»). The panel shows the «New calendar» card.
  3. Give a «Name», choose a «Colour» and, if you want, under «Default reminders» switch on «Email» or «Push notification» with the «Advance»: those are the reminders its events will be born with.
  4. «Save» at the bottom.

Having more than one helps you tell things apart at a glance: work and personal, or a project you want to be able to switch off when looking at the week.

To rename it or change its colour: in the panel, the three dots on the right of the calendar → «Edit». The «Edit calendar» card opens, same shape.

To delete it: same three dots, «Delete», in red at the bottom of the menu. ⚠️ All its events go with the calendar — the confirmation says so, and there is no recycle bin to recover them from.

The one that comes pre-selected

Control centre → Settings → «General» → «Default calendar»: it is the one proposed every time you create an event or a task.

If you cannot find the +

Having more than one is a capability of the user typology («Crea piu’ calendari»): without it you work on your single calendar and everything else works the same. If you need it, ask whoever manages Kalendo users.

⚠️ «You already have a calendar with this name. Pick a different one so you can tell them apart in lists.» is not a technical error: two calendars with the same name would be indistinguishable in lists.
