Adding a videoconference to an event

In the event’s small window, the row with the camera icon: «Add videoconference». One click and Kalendo creates the room and attaches it to the event — the link ends up in the invitation, so you do not have to send it separately. In the big window («More options») it is a button under the «Location».

While it works you read «Creating…», then «Videoconference added»; from that moment the same row shows the blue button «Join meeting»: it is the one that opens the room, for you and for the guests. Next to it, the icon for «Remove videoconference».

If the button does nothing

If you read «Enter the event title first: it will be used as the meeting name», the title is missing: the room takes its name from the event, so it is written first, in the «Event name» field at the top.

If the row is not there at all, it means that in your organisation kMeeting is not active, or not active for you: videoconferencing is a separate product, not a calendar feature.
