Kalendo guide
Being reminded before an appointment
In the event’s small window, the first row shows the calendar and, underneath, the reminder («No reminders» if there is none). Click it: the list of reminders appears below. For each one choose how long before («15 minutes before», «1 hour before», «1 day before»…) and how, «Email» or «Notification».
If you want more than one — one the day before and one a quarter of an hour before — «Add reminder». In the big window («More options») the same list sits under «Reminders».
Do not repeat it on every event
The reminder is set once per calendar: at the top right «Calendars», then the three dots next to the calendar → «Edit». In the «Edit calendar» card that opens in the panel, under «Default reminders», switch on «Email» and/or «Push notification» and choose the «Advance». From then on every new event in that calendar is born that way, and stays editable case by case.
If notifications do not arrive
The «Push notification» must be allowed by the browser. If in the calendar card you read «Notification permission denied. Enable notifications in your browser settings.», the block is in the browser and has to be removed there — Kalendo cannot on its own. If instead you read «Your browser does not support push notifications», on that browser email remains the way.
⚠️ Notifications arrive on the device where you switched them on. Switching them on on the computer does not make them appear on the phone, and vice versa.
