Tasks: things to do with a deadline
An event occupies a time slot: from 10 to 11 you are in a meeting. A task only has a deadline: by Friday you must have sent the offer.
To create a task you need to:
- Click on the grid on the day of the deadline: the event’s small window opens.
- At the top, switch from the «Event» tab to «Task» (they are only there when creating, not when editing).
- Write the «Task name», click the date row to set the «Due date» and the time, and at the bottom «Create».
The «Priority» («Low», «Medium», «High») is chosen in the big window: «More options» at the bottom of the small window.
Marking it done
Open the task, «More options» at the bottom of the small window, and in the big window click «Completed» at the bottom, next to «Delete».
If closed tasks clutter your view, in the Control centre → Settings → «General» there is «Hide completed tasks from the calendar»: they all stay, they only disappear from the grid.
