Labels
On the open note: the three dots at the top right of the pane («Note actions») → «Labels». A box opens with the ones you already have, to tick, and the «New label» field to create one on the fly (type and press Enter). Labels with «Keep at the top of the list» appear above the list of notes
as quick filters: one click and you see only the notes with that one
(«Remove this filter» to remove it, «Clear all» to reset). There
is a maximum number, and when it is full you read «You already have
If you delete a label
The «Delete label» confirmation says the label disappears from the notes you had put it on, but the notes stay where they are. Nothing written is lost.
