Notika guide
Publishing a note with a link
To create a link you need to:
- Open the note, then the three dots at the top right of the pane («Note actions») → «Share» → «With a public link». The «Link pubblico» window opens.
- Click «Nuovo link pubblico» and fill in: a «Nome del link» (optional, it is for you to recognise it), how soon it «Scade fra» (days or a year — there is no “never”: a link that does not expire is a link nobody will revoke), and the two protections below.
- «Crea il link».
The link appears under «Link attivi», with «Copy» next to it. Whoever opens it reads the note without an account, in «Read only». On the note the «Published» mark appears.
⚠️ The note is served live
«What you write from now on is visible outside too: the note is served live to whoever has the link». It is not a frozen copy: if tomorrow you correct a line, whoever has the link sees the corrected line.
It is handy — and worth keeping in mind before writing anything internal on it.
Protecting the link
The two checkboxes in the window: «Chiedi una password» (you write it and pass it on by voice) and «Chiedi un codice via email» — whoever opens receives a six-digit code and must enter it; if you write an address, the link works for that person only. They are for when the link must not be able to travel.
Whoever opens also reads that «Whoever shared this note can see when the link is opened and from which network address.» — and indeed, in the window, the «Vedi quando e’ stato aperto» icon on every link shows you.
Closing access
In the same window, under «Link attivi», the «Revoca» icon on every link (it asks «Chiudere l’accesso?»). The link moves under «Non piu’ attivi», and from then on whoever opens it reads «Link revoked».
⚠️ Voice notes do not go out. Whoever opens the link reads «This note contains a voice recording, which is not part of the share.»
If you cannot find the item
It is a capability of the user typology («Link pubblico»), separate from internal sharing precisely because it leaves the company. Ask whoever manages Notika users.
