Sharing a note with a colleague

To share a note you need to:

  1. Open it, then click the three dots at the top right of the pane («Note actions») → «Share»«With colleagues». The «Share the note» window opens.
  2. In the «Pick a person…» dropdown pick the colleague, next to it choose the permission and press «Add».

The same command is in the right click menu on a note in the list.

Two permissions:

  • «Read only» — they read it, do not touch it.
  • «Edit» — they can write in it.

Whoever receives it finds it in the left-hand menu under «Shared with me»; on the note, for you, the «Shared» mark appears with how many people.

To remove access: in the same window, in the list of people, the «Revoke access» icon. Until you have shared with anyone you read «You haven’t shared it with anyone yet.»

Who knows about whom

At the bottom of the window there is the «Recipients can see each other» switch:

  • on — «Whoever receives it also sees who else you gave it to.»
  • off — «Each one only knows they got it from you. You always see everyone.»

For a note given to two people who do not know each other, off is the prudent choice.

If you cannot find «Share»

It may be a capability of the user typology («Condivisione»), or your company has switched off sharing between users altogether in Notika’s settings. In that case it appears to nobody.
