Having the AI tidy up your notes

When notes are taken in a rush — broken lines, no punctuation — there is the sparkle icon in the note’s toolbar, towards the right: «Tidy up with AI». One click opens a menu with the four things it can do. The same menu is in the right click on the text.

⚠️ It does not rewrite and does not summarise. The menu itself says so: «Works on the whole note. It reorders what is already there: it never adds and never summarises.» That is the difference between help and a surprise.

The four things it can do

• «Tidy up» — «Punctuation, capitals, broken lines, paragraphs».
• «Turn into a list» — «Lines that are already a list become bullet points».
• «Turn into a checklist» — «Things to do become tickable boxes».
• «Suggest a title» — «Proposes a title by looking at the whole note».

It works on the whole note, or only «on the selected text» if you highlight a piece first.

First you look, then you decide

A window opens with the result next to the original — «Now» on the left and «Proposed» on the right — and nothing changes until you press «Replace» (or «Use this title»). With «Leave as it is» it closes and nothing happened.

«Until you replace it, the note stays as it is. Afterwards, a single undo takes it all back.»

If it does not appear

• If the icon is there but you read «Using AI needs a configured model: set it in Kamzan Account, Settings > Artificial Intelligence.» — whoever administers does it.
• If the icon is not there at all, it is a capability of the user typology («Sistema gli appunti (AI)»).
