Kalendo guide
Sharing a calendar with a colleague
To share a calendar you need to:
- Click «Calendars» at the top right: the panel with the list opens.
- On the calendar’s row, the three dots on the right → «Share». The panel shows the «Share calendar» card.
- In the «Search user…» field type the colleague’s name and click it in the list that appears: it goes straight under «Shared with», in «Read only».
- If they need to write, change the dropdown next to their name to «Read and write».
The two permissions:
- «Read only» — they see your appointments, touch nothing.
- «Read and write» — they can also create and edit events inside that calendar. It is the choice for whoever manages your diary, not for any colleague.
Whoever receives it finds it in their own «Calendars» panel, in the «Shared with me» group, with your name next to it.
To remove access: same card, the «Remove» icon on the right of the person. If there is nobody you read «This calendar is not shared with anyone.».
On the receiving side
If a shared calendar gets in your way, untick it in the panel and it disappears from the view. It has no three dots: you can neither edit it nor remove it from your list — to make it go away entirely, whoever shared it has to remove you.
If you cannot find «Share»
Sharing your own calendars is a capability of the user typology («Condivisione calendari»). Ask whoever manages Kalendo users.
