kMeeting guide
The first screen of kMeeting
On a computer it opens on the «Dashboard»: at the top it greets you by name, below there are three big cards — «Start a meeting», «Schedule a meeting», «Join a meeting» — and further down the «Favorites», the «Pending invites» and the «Today’s meetings». On the phone there is no Dashboard: you start from «Meetings».
The left menu
- «Meetings» — the list of all meetings.
- «Received meetings» — the invites you receive; a red dot on the entry means there is something to answer or to attend.
- «Recordings» — the videos of recorded meetings. It appears only if the company has the extension and your user type has the «Registrazione meeting» privilege.
- «Companies & contacts» — the records you can link meetings to.
- «Trash» — deleted meetings, for a while.
- At the bottom, «Control centre»: «User management» (admins only), «Notifications», «Preferences».
On the phone the bottom bar keeps «Meetings», the + in the middle and «Received meetings»; the rest lives in the ☰ menu at the top left.
Finding a meeting again
On the «Meetings» page, at the top there are the tabs «All», «Quick», «Scheduled», «Active». Below, the «Search meetings…» field searches by title; in the «Scheduled» tab the month filter («All months») appears next to it. When a filter is active, «Reset filters» shows up. At the far right of the row there is the calendar icon: it opens a «Calendar» panel on the side with the meetings by «Day» or «Week».
Ended meetings have no tab of their own: they stay in «All» with the «Ended» label.
What is on each row
Title, status («Scheduled», «Active», «Ended», «Cancelled»; «Quick» is a meeting created on the spot, with no date), the date and the three-block code: clicking it copies it («Click to copy meeting code»). On the right the icons, with their name showing when you hover: open the room («Start now» or «Join»), «Copy link», «Add to favorites» (the star: favourite meetings are found on the Dashboard under «Favorites»), «Edit», «Delete»; when they apply, also «Invite participants», «Download recording», «End meeting» and «Edit history».
