Seeing who did what

To see what happened:

  1. Click «Control centre», at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
  2. Choose «Activity» in the left-hand column of the window that opens.

You find the list in time order of what happened: who uploaded, who viewed, who downloaded, who changed something.

At the top there are three tabs: «All», «Mine» and «Others» — the last is usually the one you want, that is what colleagues did while you were not looking. With «Mark all read» you clear the counter.

One file’s activity

If you care about one document in particular, you don’t have to scroll through everything: right-click on the file«File activity» (it is at the bottom of the menu, in the last group together with «Versions» and «Details»).

What you see and what you don’t

You see the activity concerning the folders you have access to. It is not a camera on the company: if a document is none of your business, neither is its history.

If you need proof, not the news

The activity list is made to keep up with the work. For a formal check — who opened a given document, when, from where — you need the features made for that: the read receipt (which records the confirmation) and «Track opens» on the folder. They are different things, and asking the activity list leads to the wrong conclusions.
